6 Vegan friendly Halloween treats
This will be our first Halloween as a vegan family. I was excited to try out different vegan friendly treats for us to enjoy, or take to a party.
Not only are they healthy snacks for your little ones to eat up but they are also quick and easy to make.
Graham had a fun time assisting in the prep work but enjoyed eating the snacks a little bit more.
TANGERINE PUMPKINS
Supplies: -mini tangerine oranges
-celery sticks
BANANA GHOSTS
Supplies:
-mini dark chocolate chips
-bananas
STUFFED PEPPER JACK-O-LANTERNS
Supplies:
-bell peppers
-quinoa & brown rice (purchased from Costco)
VAMPIRE PANCAKES
Supplies:
-strawberries
-bananas
-blueberries
-pumpkin seeds
-slivered almonds
-sunflower seeds
PUMPKIN SHAPED PANCAKES
Supplies:
-Vegan friendly pancake mix
(follow the box instructions and replace milk with almond milk and substitute 1egg with 1/4 cup of applesauce)
-coconut almond milk
-organic natural maple syrup
-vegetable oil
-classic applesauce
-pumpkin shaped cookie cutter
PINEAPPLE CARVED JACK-O-LANTERN
We wanted to bring a little "Hawaii" home with us, so we decided to add a cute Pineapple to our front porch this year.
